Family Law
Ted Zelasko – one of our founders – had a simple philosophy when it came to family law issues. Ted always said that family law was the most human area of the law. He stressed to all of us that family law touches and affects people more than any other because it is all about home, family, children, and the issues that are at the very core of who we are as people. It is emotional and often messy. Ted often reminded us that as lawyers practicing family law, we needed to be very sensitive to the real and/or imagined needs of our clients, in order to help guide them through these very difficult matters. We were always to remember that we are not just the attorney and advocate, but we must also be part counselor, confessor, and confidant.
For more than 50 years, members of our firm have dedicated themselves to providing the best representation and advice possible for our clients who find themselves in need of help in the area of family law. We are committed to helping our clients through the difficult issues that often arise in the family law setting, and we are dedicated to achieving the best possible results in each and every case.

HELPFUL HINTS
ENTER MONTHLY AMOUNTS
1. Most of the information must be entered as a monthly amount. That’s where the “CalcMonthly” buttons can make your job easier. Example: Suppose you are paid $100 per week in business income. Next to the place where you would enter Month Business Income, click the “CalcMonthly” button. A pop-up screen will appear where you can type 100 in the weekly box. When you click “Calculate and Transfer,” the amount you typed will be converted to a monthly amount and placed in the appropriate place on the form.
ENTER THE INFORMATION YOU KNOW
1. Any information you type will be helpful. The information you type will be merged with existing information acquired during previous visits or phone interviews with your attorney. -
2. The data entry program only asks for information, and doesn’t do calculations. The calculations are done on your attorney’s machine.
